Forms of Therapy

Emotion Focused Couples Therapy

EFCT is an effective form of couples therapy that aims to help partners strengthen their attachment bond. During the process of EFCT, couples will learn how to recognize the destructive and disconnecting patterns that have emerged over the course of their relationship. They will then learn how to respond to their partners in more loving and responsive ways.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT is a well researched and effective method. CBT strategies aim to help clients change dysfunctional thought patterns and behaviors in service of their goals for change.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy focuses on life stories and helps clients understand how their experiences influence their day to day functioning. Narrative methods help people harness their own skills and strengths to reach their goals.
